Steph Curry speaks about his future.

Steph Curry is going into his 18th season with the Golden State Warriors, hoping to make one more run at a championship before he hangs up his sneakers.

Curry is coming off a season in which he averaged 26.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 4.7 assists. He shot 46% from the field and 39% from three.

Unfortunately for Curry and Warriors' fans, Curry missed 39 games during the regular season, which dropped Golden State in the standings as they couldn't stay afloat with Curry out for an extended period and Jimmy Butler sidelined for the season after suffering an ACL injury.

He was great in the play-in game against the Los Angeles Clippers, scoring 35 points and knocking down seven threes. He wasn't nearly as good against the Phoenix Suns in the second play-in game against the Phoenix Suns, scoring 17 points on 16 shots.

What's Next For Steph?

Appearing on Good Morning America, Steph discussed his future.

“I’m going into Year 18, which is crazy to think how fast things are going by, but super excited about another season. Hopefully staying healthy out there on the court. The Foundation work that we are doing is a constant through line for me and Ayesha, and I’m just trying to enjoy the summer while we can. Like you said, the kids are growing up fast. And I’ve been playing a little golf," he said.

Curry recently had a golf outing with LeBron James, which he used as an opportunity to make a recruiting pitch to "The King."

How Close Are The Warriors To Competing?

As currently constructed, not that close.

Of all teams waiting on LeBron James to make a decision, no team needs a decision more than the Warriors.

While the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers made big trades in the offseason and might feel comfortable with their teams, and the Cleveland Cavaliers are coming off an Eastern Conference Finals run, the Warriors are bringing back the same team that didn't make the playoffs, only a year older.

While LeBron might not make the Warriors the favorites, he does put them closer to a championship, which the Warriors are striving for, especially in the final years of Steph Curry.

For basketball fans, and especially Warriors fans, a healthy Steph Curry would be the best outcome. He's still one of the most dynamic and feared players in the league, and any fan of basketball should want to see what magic he has left.
