After being outmatched in a pair of consecutive road games against the Atlanta Hawks this week, the Washington Wizards will return to action on Saturday night against the Toronto Raptors in hopes of ending a four game losing streak, though all eyes remain on the tank.

This marks the third meeting of the season between the two teams after Toronto won the first game by 30 at home in November before Washington returned the favor with a 21 point win in late December.

The Raptors enter Saturday night's meeting on a two game losing streak after falling by nine against Oklahoma City on Tuesday before suffering a three point loss against the San Antonio Spurs the following night.

The Raptors will be without several players on Saturday with a trio of two-way players ruled out including Chucky Hepburn, AJ Lawson, Alijah Martin and Jonathan Mob. Collin Murray-Boyles is listed as doubtful with a left thumb sprain.

Meanwhile, Washington will remain shorthanded once again with the usual crowd once again inactive.

That begins with Anthony Davis as he inches his way back. D'Angelo Russell, who may ultimately join the team this season, remains inactive with a 'not with team' designation. Alex Sarr, who does not appear close to a return, remains inactive with a right hamstring sprain while Trae Young is still ruled out with the same trio of injuries: right knee, MCL sprain, quad contusion.

Washington could be even more shorthanded with Leaky Black listed as questionable alongside Kyshawn George, listed with a left knee contusion, and Will Riley, listed with a right ankle contusion. Tristan Vukcevic, days removed from signing a new three year contract, is also ruled questionable due to a left hip impingement.

The news also comes after the Washington Wizards have also agreed to a two-way deal with Julian Reese, a Baltimore native, potentially making his way back to the DMV.

Washington enters Saturday's contest with the fourth-best odds at landing the top overall pick, per Tanktahon, with both Indiana and Brooklyn sitting with 15 wins and Sacramento leading the way with a 14-47 record. None of the three mentioned teams will be inaction on Saturday, though, giving Washington a chance to slightly inch closer toward the top overall pick.
