How to watch: Monumental Sports Network, League Pass

After consecutive wins against the Indiana Pacers to open up the post-All Star slate, the Washington Wizards return to action inside Capital One Arena to host the Charlotte Hornets.

Charlotte enters Sunday's matchup looking to extend its win streak after winning their last six road games to inch closer towards .500 on the season.

Sunday marks the final meeting between the two teams this season after the Hornets took all three prior matchups this season, including a four-point win back on Jan. 24 when the Wizards made headlines across the league with the youngest starting lineup in NBA history.

Washington is coming off a short-handed win against Indianapolis after Alondes Williams, initially signed to a ten-day contract, exploded for a career night with his 25 points more than his entire point total through his brief NBA career, while his ten rebounds secured a double-double in the win.

Kon Knueppel continues to make his case as a Rookie of the Year candidate as he enters Sunday's matchup averaging 19.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists for the Hornets, including 20.8 points over the last ten games.

Washington will enter tipoff with a lengthy injury report, which has been the norm for the bulk of the last three months of the season.

Justin Champagnie is questionable ahead of tipoff due to right knee tendinopathy, while Kyshawn George is questionable due to a left toe sprain after not playing on Friday night. Tristan Vukcevic, who inked a new three-year deal on Saturday, is also questionable due to a right hand contusion after he was limited on Friday night.

Anthony Davis, Alex Sarr, Cam Whitmore and Trae Young fill the inactives for the Wizards with D'Angelo Russell still listed as out with a 'not with team' designation, as expected.

That could spell another chance for Alondes Williams to follow up his career night, while fans will look for rookie Will Riley to see expanded minutes after playing for just a quarter of Friday night's win.

The Hornets will be without both Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabate due a league suspension, while Liam McNeely and Coby White are both inactive due to lower leg sprains.

Following Sunday's contest, Washington will hit the road for a pair of road games against the Atlanta Hawks on both Tuesday and Thursday before returning to Capital One Arena next weekend.
