Keshaun Singleton continues to answer every challenge Alex Golesh gives him. After another strong fall camp scrimmage, Golesh believes the Auburn receiver can be “as special as there is in the country” if his process remains consistent, setting up Singleton for a potentially huge 2026 season.

Keshaun Singleton keeps answering every challenge Alex Golesh gives him.

And that's becoming pretty important for the Auburn Tigers offense.

Singleton followed Golesh to Auburn from South Florida after already proving what he could do in his offense. He understands the system, has a relationship with quarterback Byrum Brown, and knows exactly what his head coach expects from him.

The talent has never really been the question.

Golesh wants everything else to match it.

Following Auburn's second scrimmage of fall camp, Golesh once again discussed Singleton and made it pretty clear just how highly he thinks of his receiver.

"When his off-the-field process is right, he could be as special as there is in the country," Golesh said.

That's a pretty significant statement, especially from a coach who already knows Singleton better than just about anyone on Auburn's roster.

Golesh has seen what Singleton looks like when everything is right. And after a quiet spring, it's great to finally hear it from the Auburn head coach.

It seemed like most of the wide receiver chatter was surrounded by everybody else except Singleton. Players such as Chas Nimrod, Deshawn Spencer, Christian Neptune, and others took the spotlight, while Singleton kept his head down and just kept working, something that Golesh knows all about.

Now he wants that every day.

And after being challenged to become more consistent with his process away from the football field, Singleton responded with another strong performance during Auburn's second scrimmage.

That's easily starting to become a theme.

Again, Singleton didn't necessarily generate the same fall camp buzz as some of Auburn's other receivers.

Deshawn Spencer has emerged.

Jeremiah Koger continues fighting for a larger role.

But Singleton's position in this offense has never really seemed to be in question.

Golesh trusts him. Brown trusts him. And that might be all the buzz that's needed.

Singleton continues to show he can produce when Auburn puts the football down and allows him to compete.

And that's the next step for Singleton to prove to the rest of the country that he can do it inside the SEC. It's clear he wants to become one of the best players in the country, and that's going to require making more than just some big plays during scrimmages. It's going to require big plays beginning in Atlanta in just a few weeks.

Alex Golesh continues challenging him to do exactly that, and so far, what we can tell is Singleton keeps answering the call. If that continues once Auburn takes the field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium against the Baylor Bears, Singleton could easily become significantly more important than just one of Golesh's most trusted players that followed him from his last stop.

He could become one of the most important players on Auburn's offense.
