The Clemson Tigers have revealed the ACC Conference opponents they will face in 2027.

After getting blown out in Week 1 of the new college football season, the Clemson Tigers were able to bounce back to get a win in Week 2.

Clemson took down Georgia Southern to earn its first win of the season. While the win wasn't the prettiest, the Tigers have to be feeling better about themselves coming into Week 3.

The Tigers will be taking on the North Carolina Tar Heels, hosting them at Memorial Stadium. This will give Clemson its first action in the ACC this season, offering it a chance to take down a 2-0 team.

But before the game kicks off, the Tigers have revealed the ACC opponents they will be playing in 2027. The entire conference revealed the opponents, with Clemson taking on eight ACC teams next year, compared to the nine that the other programs will face.

Clemson will be hosting the Boston College Eagles, Florida State Seminoles, Stanford Cardinal, and Wake Forest Demon Deacons next year. And the Tigers will be heading on the road to take on the Louisville Cardinals, Virginia Tech Hokies, North Carolina State Wolfpack, and the SMU Mustangs.

It's unclear why the Tigers will be playing eight conference opponents compared to everyone else. But Clemson has scheduled games against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and South Carolina Gamecocks, giving them 10 Power Four opponents for 2027.

The ACC has mandated that all teams will play at least 10 Power Four opponents, with the Tigers scheduling two outside the conference. Clemson will be hosting Notre Dame in 2027, while traveling to take on South Carolina.

“Announcing our 2027 conference opponents provides another exciting look ahead for ACC Football and the compelling matchups our fans can expect across the league,” said ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips. “Bycontinuing to ensure that every team plays a minimum of 10 Power Four opponents, this model reinforces the collective strength of ACC Football, supports competitive balance across our 17 programs, and prepares our teams to compete at the highest level nationally.”

For now, the Tigers will try to get their 2026 season back on track before the coaches think about 2027. Clemson still has a lot in front of them despite how the year has started, and this team wants to surprise people across the country.

If the Tigers can take down the Tar Heels this weekend, it would be the start of something for the program. Clemson and North Carolina will kick off at 9:00 a.m. PT/ 12:00 p.m. ET.
