The Georgia Bulldogs had a long list of elite names on campus.
The Georgia Bulldogs hosted the Oklahoma Sooners this weekend in their fourth game of the year, and after it was expected they were going to be tested, the opposite happened in another blowout for the Dawgs.
Much of this was on the Sooners not being equipped to play offense right now, however regardless of the reasons, Sanford Stadium was absolutely rocking as the Dawgs got out to a huge lead. That environment the fans were able to create clearly made an impression on some of the top high school players in the nation who Georgia is recruiting to come play in Athens.
After the weekend came to a close, many of them had nothing but great things to say about the Bulldogs program and how great of a time they had in Athens as the coaching staff makes their pitch. Some intel from Rivals revealed just how strong of a visit weekend it was for the Dawgs.
Georgia Showed Out with Numerous Five-Stars in Town
The three major visitors in town were Kellan Hall, Prince Che and Asher Ghioto, all three odf which told Rivals their visit went about as well as it possibly could have. Both the players as well as their families all said the program is truly first class and the Dawgs are among the final suitors for all three elite defensive linemen.
Georgia also had the No. 1 running back in the nation for the class of 2028, Kevin Hartsfield out of Covington, GA, in town for another visit after the Dawgs have already jumped out to the early lead in his recruitment. When it comes to Hartsfield, the Dawgs are the team to be for the Newton High School superstar.
With another big season, he could have the potential to rise up to one of the top overall players in the entire nation, and the potential two-headed monster of 2026 No. 1 running back Kemon Spell is enough to make Georgia fans salivate.
There's a ton of work for the Bulldogs to do in the class of 2028 as commitments are still many months away, but it seems like Georgia is doing all the right things to wind up with an elite class coming off a rather forgettable one in terms of ranking in 2027.
Clearly, it was a great weekend for the Bulldogs both on and off the field, and it could help lead to an elite next generation of Dawgs stars.
