The Georgia Bulldogs have seen an incredible camp from this rising junior.

The Georgia Bulldogs are less than two weeks away from the season finally getting started and fans getting a highly anticipated first look at what the 2026 edition of the Bulldogs is going to look like.

A very young team in 2025, Georgia was ultimately still able to win the SEC and get to the College Football Playoff, building some momentum going into this year despite early playoff exits the last two seasons. Every year, we see players step up who have not been significant factors previously, and this year there's a number of candidates to do just that.

One guy who has received more hype this fall camp perhaps than any of his teammates has been a veteran tight end that got a little bit forgotten about the last two years but now may be due for a breakout campaign. All summer long, it been junior Jaden Reddell who has folks talking, and it sounds like he is finally blossoming as a pass catcher after being used largely to block in 2025.

Reddell Has Chance to Be Huge Part of Offense This Season

After recording just one career catch over the first two seasons of his career in Athens, Reddell has found another gear this offseason and reminded a whole lot of folks of the type of player he was coming out of high school.

A top-10 tight end in the nation and top-100 player overall, this was a guy that every school in the country was after and trying to get to attend their institution. Since then, it seems like Reddell has done nothing but quietly get a whole lot better over the last two years.

He also has the benefit of the Bulldogs offense not having a ton of proven weapons in the passing game and being in desperate need of someone to emerge as a legitimate difference maker. Whether or not the wide receiver room is able to produce at a high level remains to be seen, but the tight end group is one of the best in all of college football.

For as dependable as Lawson Luckie is, it may be Reddell who has the highest ceiling as a speedy pass catcher who can add another gear to the air game for this offense. Georgia is likely going to lean on the group heavily, which means Reddell is absolutely going to be a significant factor.

In what capacity that comes remains to be seen, however fans can likely count on more than one catch this season from Reddell.
