The Georgia Bulldogs are 3-0 and have not been met with much if any resistance through the first three weeks of the season, defeating their opponents by an absurd combined 138 points.

Of course, this is exactly how fans would want this team to look against inferior competition, but at the end of the day, nobody is going to pat the Dawgs on the back for taking care of business against teams they are leagues ahead of. This coming week at home will be the most significant test yet as the Oklahoma Sooners come to town to try to pull off a huge upset in Athens.

Before the season, this was looked at as one of the more sneaky difficult games on the schedule for Georgia, but now, fans are beginning to overlook it due to the way the Sooners have struggled on the offensive side of the ball. Others know that Oklahoma still brings a great defense into Sanford Stadium under Brent Venables and still is capable of giving the Dawgs trouble, but will they?

The truth is that until Saturday afternoon, we really don't know just how good this Georgia team is.

There are real hopes that this Bulldogs team is capable of making a national title run, however until they face competition worthy of being on the same field as them, it's tough to say whether or not this is realistic.

For the third straight game, Gunner Stockton was out of action before things were over and the offense has just not been tested to this point. All offseason long, there were doubts about the wide receiver room and whether Stockton has enough weapons to get the football to.

There have been flashes, but nothing to this point has been proven definitively.

A defense which needed to improve at rushing the passer has just not seen the kind of offensive line it will see against difficult SEC teams not to mention others Georgia would have to defeat to get it done in the postseason.

Ultimately, the truth about the Bulldogs right now is we just don't know. Should they dominate a very good Oklahoma defense, then some real discussions can start to be had.

Until there's a real test though, these questions are going to remain without an answer and Georgia had better keep improving if they want to make a deep postseason run.
