Colson Montgomery, an Indiana native, is taking inspiration from the Hoosiers' improbable football national championship run and hopes his Chicago White Sox can find the same magic.
Indiana had the worst record in college football two years ago, and the White Sox set a record for losses in 2024. Montgomery, a former IU baseball commit who was the first-round pick of the White Sox in the 2021 MLB Draft, was a great high school football and basketball player as well.
He's also a huge Indiana fan in all sports, and goes to football and basketball games in the offseason. He's excited for what lies ahead for him in 2026.
