Will Memphis add another player to its basketball roster?

Memphis’ roster sits at 14 players right now, and Penny Hardaway has said that he would like to keep it at that number unless “something sweet” came along.
While 14 players are committed to next season, not everyone has signed with the program. Most notably, four-star recruit Fred Smith Jr., who played his high school ball at Briarcrest, has yet to sign with the program after committing on April 9.
It has been reported that Smith’s reluctance to sign is linked to money, and other teams have reportedly tried to sway him away from his commitment.
If Smith signs with the Tigers, Hardaway will have 14 players with one scholarship available. If he doesn’t sign, that gives the head coach two scholarships going into the summer.
The roster still appears to have some weaknesses on paper, and the coaching staff could consider adding another piece to help around the rim and defensively.
What do you think? Will Hardaway add another player to the roster? Should he add another player to the roster? Are the 14 players committed the same 14 players that will be on the roster for the season opener against Iowa State?
