It was a great start for the Tigers, but it didn’t last the entire game. Despite a 17-3 lead early, the Broncos dominated most of the game to secure a 38-20 victory.

Boise State started the game with the ball and drove down the field, but the Tigers’ defense stood firm and held them to a field goal.

Memphis got the ball on their first possession, and it was clear that the Marcus Stokes to Hunter Tipton connection was going to be working. After a few runs for minimal yards, Stokes connected with Hunter for a 41-yard reception.

The big play set up a field goal attempt, but it was blocked by linebacker Boen Phelps. The Broncos got the ball back, but couldn’t do anything and punted the ball back to Memphis.
