After looking at the offensive tackles that Memphis has targeted in the class of 2027, it’s time to look at the interior offensive linemen that the Tigers are interested in. Charles Huff and his staff have shown interest in a lot of interior offensive linemen this offseason, so this is the first half of the players that Huff and his staff have offered.
Memphis’ staff had a lot of work to do when they took over earlier this offseason, and after building a team out of the transfer portal, they have turned their focus to the class of 2027. After looking at most of the offense, here’s a look at the interior offensive linemen who hold offers from the Tigers.
Bryson Sanderson (Oxford, AL)
Memphis offered Sanderson on March 3, and he took an unofficial visit with the Tigers on March 28. Sanderson is a three-star recruit and the No. 25 IOL in the class of 2027.
The Oxford, AL, native has already scheduled an official visit with Huff’s program, and he will visit Memphis on June 12.
Bryson Hurt (Gainesville, GA)
Hurt was offered by the previous staff, but Huff’s staff at Southern Miss offered him in January 2025. Hurt is a three-star and the No. 54 IOL in the class.
He has set only one official visit, and he will be visiting NC State on June 5. Hurt holds a handful of Power Four offers, and it’s unclear if the Tigers will be able to land an official visit with the Georgia native.
Jayden Mack (Hutto, TX)
Memphis offered Mack in late January, and he currently holds 19 offers. Mack is a three-star recruit, and he’s ranked the No. 69 IOL in the class.
The Texas native is also a power lifter and reportedly posted a 330 bench, 525 dead lift and 630-pound squat as a sophomore.
Gage Luther (Pontotoc, MS)
Luther was offered by the Tigers in early March, and offensive line coach Andy Kwon visited him earlier this month. 247Sports lists him as a three-star, and he has three official visits set up with Colorado, Mississippi State and Virginia Tech.
Skyler Smith (Nashville, TN)
The Tigers offered Smith in early April, and he holds 25 offers, including Power Four offers from Wake Forest and Duke. Smith is a two-time first-team All-State offensive lineman and a two-time state champion at CPA.
Brayden Washington (Collierville, TN)
The previous staff recruited Washington and offered him in 2024, but Huff’s staff re-offered him after taking over. The 6-foot-5 and 300-pound offensive lineman is ranked a three-star by On3, and he’s set to take an official visit to UCF in June.
Bryce Johnson (Matthews, NC)
Memphis offered Johnson in late February, and he holds 13 offers, including a Power Four offer from Boston College. Johnson isn’t ranked by either 247Sports or On3, and he has yet to set up any official visits.
