Mark Fletcher Jr. Shares Update on CharMar ‘Marty’ Brown

I asked Miami Hurricanes star running back Mark Fletcher Jr. about how CharMar “Marty” Brown has stayed engaged with the team since suffering a season-ending injury against Wake Forest:

“He’s still around,” he said. “He’s in good spirits. I love that he’s around and keeping us going. People get injured and tend to isolate themselves. I know for football players, sometimes you feel like you have no value. He’s in good spirits and I’m happy to see him around the building.”

I actually met with Brown on Monday heading into the coaches’ weekly press conference. It was good to see him with a smile. Wishing the best on recovering.
