The North Carolina Tar Heels have a prime opportunity in front of them.

Over the weekend, the North Carolina Tar Heels were able to earn one of the bigger victories for the football program in some time.

North Carolina took down their rivals in the Duke Blue Devils, grabbing their second straight win. The Tar Heels now sit with a record of 4-2 on the season, going 2-1 in ACC play so far this year.

The win over Duke showed what the Tar Heels could be this year, and it's something that this group can now build on. North Carolina used a strong well-rounded approach to the game to take down the Blue Devils over the weekend.

The Tar Heels will now be playing the Syracuse Orange at home this weekend, offering them a chance to keep the winning going. But North Carolina also has a massive game coming up after the Syracuse matchup, with the Tar Heels scheduled to play the No. 1-ranked Miami Hurricanes.
