Only three Wildcats from last year's roster are returning for the 2026-27 season.

The men's basketball transfer portal is finally open, and Northwestern's roster is experiencing a complete makeover.

Just three players — Angelo Ciaravino, Jake West and Phoenix Gill — have announced their intentions to return to the Wildcats, while the other 12 players are either graduating or transferring.

Does all the transfer news in Evanston have your head spinning? Fear not, we've got you covered with NorthwesternRoundtable's official transfer portal tracker:

Outgoing Transfers

C Cade Bennerman

Fr., 4 years eligibility | 7-foot, 205 lbs
1 year at Northwestern
Career: 0 games played

Bennerman, a former three-star talent and the No. 1 high schooler in Tennessee, entered the portal on Mar. 20. He redshirted his freshman season and did not appear for the 'Cats.

G K.J. Windham

So., 2 years eligibility | 6-foot-3, 190 lbs
2 years at Northwestern
Career: 39 games played, 2 starts, 5.0 ppg, 1.2 rpg, 1.7 apg, 36.6% FG, 31.4% 3P
2025-26: 14 games played, 3.5 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 1.1 apg, 32.6% FG, 33.3% 3P

Following a strong end to his freshman season, Windham shockingly fell out of the Wildcats' rotation as a sophomore. He played in just three Big Ten games after the new year.

Update: Windham committed to James Madison on Apr. 16.

F Tre Singleton

Fr., 3 years eligibility | 6-foot-8, 225 lbs
1 year at Northwestern
2025-26: 34 games played, 31 starts, 7.6 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 1.5 apg, 47.7% FG, 16.7% 3P

Singleton was the Wildcats' highest-rated recruit in program history and surprisingly departs from Northwestern after just one season. While playing in all 34 games, Singleton flashed potential on both sides of the ball.

Update: Singleton committed to Iowa State on Apr. 11.

G Blake Smith

Sr., 1 year eligibility | 6-foot-6, 190 lbs
4 years at Northwestern
Career: 32 games played, 2 starts, 1.1 ppg, 0.7 rpg, 0.3 apg, 57.1% FG, 25.0% 3P
2025-26: 0 games played

Smith redshirted his senior season and will enter the transfer portal after receiving his degree from Northwestern. The former walk-on earned the opportunity to start as a sophomore amid a series of devastating injuries to the Wildcats and played a significant role during NU's 2023-24 NCAA Tournament run.

Update: Smith committed to Oral Roberts on Apr. 17.

C Arrinten Page

Jr., 1 year eligibility | 6-foot-11, 245 lbs
1 year at USC, 1 year at Cincinnati, 1 year at Northwestern
Career: 87 games played, 20 starts, 5.6 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 0.9 apg, 52.4% FG, 29.0% 3P
2025-26: 29 games played, 16 starts, 10.2 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.8 apg, 54.6% FG, 25.0% 3P

Page is uniquely on track to play for four different schools in four years after stops at USC, Cincinnati and Northwestern. He had a career-best statistical season in Evanston, though it was marked by inconsistency.

Update: Page committed to Providence on Apr. 17.

G Jordan Clayton

Jr., 1 year eligibility | 6-foot-2, 185 lbs
3 years at Northwestern
Career: 69 games played, 20 starts, 2.6 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 1.1 apg, 36.0% FG, 34.8% 3P
2025-26: 31 games played, 10 starts, 3.9 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 1.4 apg, 41.2% FG, 41.0% 3P

Clayton announced he was entering the transfer portal after completing his Northwestern degree in three years. The captain got red-hot from beyond the arc to finish out his career in Evanston.

Update: Clayton committed to UMass on Apr. 15.

G Jayden Reid

2025-26: 34 games played, 28 starts, 10.1 pts, 1.4 rpg, 5.0 apg, 39.0% FG, 31.7% 3P

Reid was one of three players to go one-and-done at Northwestern after transferring into the program last season. Similar to Page, he showed flashes but was largely inconsistent.

F Tyler Kropp

Fr., 3 years eligibility | 6-foot-9, 230 lbs
1 year at Northwestern
2025-26: 31 games played, 10 starts, 3.1 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 0.3 apg, 44.2% FG, 27.3% 3P

Kropp marks the third Northwestern freshman to enter the portal. The forward was forced to play center for this year due to the Wildcats' lack of size, but will likely be looking for an opportunity to play his true stretch four position elsewhere.

G Max Green

So., 2 years eligibility | 6-foot-6, 190 lbs
1 year at Holy Cross, 1 year at Northwestern
Career: 54 games played, 35 starts, 10.4 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.4 apg, 40.9% FG, 36.9% 3P
2025-26: 23 games played, 4 starts, 4.3 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 1.0 apg, 37.0% FG, 33.8% 3P

Green is the ninth Northwestern Wildcat to submit his name to the transfer portal. He was the Patriot League Rookie of the Year during his lone season at Holy Cross, prior to leaving for Evanston.
