Former Ohio State wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. got an updated stance on recent trade rumors.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have seen all sorts of talented players come through the football program over the years, with the school earning a strong reputation from NFL teams.

This has especially been true for wide receivers, with Ohio State claiming itself to be "Wide Receiver U". And while many players from the Buckeyes have seen real success in the NFL, not every single star player has panned out.

One of the more interesting from recent memory is wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., currently on the Arizona Cardinals. Harrison had all sorts of hype entering the NFL following his stint with the Buckeyes, but the veteran wide receiver hasn't been able to do too much.

With Ohio State, Harrison put up two straight seasons over 1,000-yards with 14 touchdowns, showing a real strength on the field. This had him be taken by the Cardinals with the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

But since then, Harrison hasn't been able to stay consistent in his performance, and it has now led to trade rumors. However, new reporting shows that Arizona may not actually be looking to move the former Ohio State star.

According to NFL insider Dan Graziano of ESPN, the Cardinals have shown no indication that moving Harrison is in the cards. Graziano also mentions that if Arizona were to move Harrison, however, multiple teams would be interested in the former Buckeyes star.

In his rookie season with Arizona, Harrison played in 17 games, catching 62 passes for 885 yards and eight touchdowns. His sophomore season was a little disappointing, with the wideout catching 41 passes for 608 yards and four touchdowns.

But so far this season, Harrison has only caught four passes for 73 yards and no touchdowns, playing in four games. Harrison has seemed to fall out of favor in the Cardinals offensive attack, leading to the rumors around a possible trade.

Harrison still has a lot of talent left in the tank, and he is just 24 years old, but his lack of consistency has come back to hurt him. If he can't generate more buzz in the Arizona passing game over the next few weeks, the Cardinals may be better off moving him.

The veteran could use a change of scenery, giving him a fresh start with another organization. But for now, Harrison will try to get back into the good graces of the Cardinals, and the hope is that he can finally break out the rest of the way.
