The Ohio State Buckeyes have received a massive update on a five-star wide receiver recruit.
The Ohio State Buckeyes are looking to make a big statement with their recruiting class of 2028.
Ohio State just received a massive update from one of its top prospects, giving more thought to him joining the program. Five-star wide receiver Braylon Clark has reportedly cut his school list down to 12 schools, with the Buckeyes being one of them.
Other than the Buckeyes, Clark is considering the LSU Tigers, Tennessee Volunteers, Miami Hurricanes, Indiana Hoosiers, Texas Longhorns, Oregon Ducks, Alabama Crimson Tide, Clemson Tigers, Texas A&M, South Carolina Gamecocks, and USC Trojans.
Clark told insider Hayes Fawcett of Rivals the news.
Ohio State has a lot of competition for the five-star prospect, including multiple rival teams from the Big Ten. But the Buckeyes have to feel confident in their ability to land Clark, especially considering their history with wide receivers.
Other than LSU, Ohio State is seen as one of the best programs around the country when it comes to developing wide receivers. The Buckeyes have placed a strong level of importance on this over the years, and it has lasted for a long time.
If they could add Clark, it would bring a spark to the 2028 recruiting class, while boosting the roster down the line. Clark could become a true number one option for any team in his career due to his athleticism and size.
The 6-foot-3 wideout can be molded into becoming one of the more dominant players in college football, with the right coaching. Clark has the ability to flip the field each time out, and he tends to attack the football with strong hands whenever thrown too.
