The Ohio State Buckeyes in the NFL did their thing again in week two, led by the reigning Offensive Player of the Year, Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Smith-Njigba is off to a ridiculous start in the 2026 season as it took until the second half of their game against the Arizona Cardinals for the Seattle Seahawks to get a touchdown from someone not named JSN.
Smith-Njigba has picked up right where he left off at the end of the 2025 season, when he won the Player of the Year on the offensive side of the ball. On Sunday, he finished with nine catches for 155 yards and a total of three scores.
For the season, he has already hauled in 17 passes for 277 yards and four touchdowns for the Seahawks as they look every bit the part of the returning Super Bowl Champions that they were last year.
He wasn't the only Buckeye wide receiver who did his thing on Sunday. Saints receiver Chris Olave has found a really nice rhythm in New Orleans. He and his new quarterback, Tyler Shough, have found great chemistry with each other, and it continued on Sunday.
Olave put together an eight-catch, 86-yard day where he found the end zone once. This performance comes on the heels of his 10-catch, 182-yard day in week one. On the year, Olave has 18 catches for 268 yards and just one score.
Together, those two are in spots one and two in the entire league, nearly 40 yards ahead of the guy in the third spot, Dalton Kincaid, the tight end from Buffalo.
Out in New England, running back TreVeyon Henderson broke through in his first game of the season for a huge 39-yard touchdown run that was the difference in the game early on.

A repeat Offensive Player of the Year is absolutely on the table for JSN next year, but he'll have to beat out his former teammate, Chris Olave.
