Latest odds for Oklahoma State Football's chances against Tulsa, Oregon, winning the Big 12, making the College Football Playoff, and winning the National Championship

The odds are out for what the sportsbooks believe Oklahoma State’s season will look like.

So far, we have odds for their first two games against Tulsa and Oregon, as well as their win total, chances to win the Big 12, how likely they are to make the College Football Playoff, as well as winning the national championship.

at Tulsa (-11.5 via DraftKings Sportsbook)

If you’re a betting man (and I am), this seems like a good play to take OSU to win and cover. Even though this Oklahoma State team looks completely different from last year, they will likely come out with vengeance, trying to avenge the loss from last season to the Golden Hurricane. I would expect that Eric Morris would like to make a statement in his first game and put on a show for the fans with the offense, with a lot of points from Drew Mestemaker and company.

vs. Oregon (-17.5 via FanDuel Sportsbook)

No one is expecting Oklahoma State to win this game by any means, but the goal is to not be embarrassed again like last year’s 69-3 debacle. It will be the Pokes’ home opener and it is an early start for a west coast team like Oregon. Keeping it under 17.5 could be tough with Oregon’s dynamic offense led by quarterback Dante Moore, but this seems like something the Cowboys can achieve.

Win Total (O/U 5.5 via DraftKings Sports)

Most people expect OSU to go 2-1 in the non-conference with wins over Tulsa and Murray State, along with a loss to Oregon. To hit the over, the Cowboys would need to go 4-5 in league play, that’s very doable and would put them in a bowl game. If health stays on their side, an eight win season is very doable, which would easily heat the over.

Big 12 Conference Winner (+4000 via DraftKings Sports)

Texas Tech and BYU are heavy favorites in the Big 12 this year. Even without Brendan Sorsby, it is hard to imagine that anyone will be able to keep up with the Red Raiders and the Cougars, who bring back Bear Bachmeier after an outstanding freshman season. Although a Big 12 championship is unlikely, I wouldn’t rule out the Cowboys making it to Arlington for the Big 12 Championship Game.

Make the College Football Playoff (+2000 via DraftKings Sports)

Interestingly enough, the Cowboys are more likely according to the oddsmakers to make the CFP than to win the Big 12. So far in the 12-team College Football Playoff era, only the Big 12 champion has made the CFP, and not a single at-large team has qualified. If the Pokes are going to make the playoff, they will probably need to win the Big 12, which is unlikely.

National Championship Winner (+40000 via DraftKings Sports)

Hate to burst anyone’s bubble, but a national championship isn’t happening this season. Don't waste your money.
