One of the things that's not being discussed about the Oregon Ducks is that quarterback Dante Moore lost his top two leading receivers from the 2025 campaign.

Malik Benson led the Ducks with 719 yards receiving and six touchdowns. He's now with the Las Vegas Raiders after going in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Tight end Kenyon Sadiq recorded 560 yards receiving and eight touchdowns before going to the New York Jets with in the first round.

Evan Stewart and Dakorien Moore are expected to be the leading receivers for the Ducks this fall. Moore, a five-foot-11, 195-pound receiver from Duncanville, Texas, recorded 34 receptions for 497 yards and three touchdowns in his freshman season.

Ari Wasserman of On3 had a curious ranking for Moore this offseason. He thinks Moore is the No. 9 receiver in college football, putting him behind two Indiana receivers (Nick Marsh and Charlie Becker).

"Oregon‘s offense is going to be ridiculous this season," Wasserman wrote. "Yes, Dante Moore is back, but there are three Ducks receivers who could have made this list: Moore, Evan Stewart and Jeremiah McClellan.

"Moore gets the nod, though, because he’s a former five-star prospect who produced as a true freshman last season, recording 34 catches for 497 yards and four touchdowns. Though he isn’t as big of an alien as some of the other people on this list, Moore is one of the fastest players in the country, especially in game action. With another offseason of development under his belt, he is ready to become a star."

Of the three names listed by Wasserman, McClellan actually had the most yards in 2025. He recorded 38 receptions for 577 yards and three touchdowns.

Still, Dakorien Moore should be the best of the bunch, and could be the key to Dante Moore staying in the race for the Heisman Trophy this fall.

Dante's biggest competition for the Heisman is Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith, who Wasserman ranks as the No. 1 receiver.

Dakorien has the talent to become much better than the No. 9 receiver in the nation. And if he stays healthy, could become one of the top playmakers in college football.
