With recruiting this offseason being hit or miss for the Oregon Ducks, they just landed an absolutely massive boost to their class.

The Oregon Ducks are right in the middle of their offseason and are currently focused on two things. Getting next year's team ready for next season throughout spring ball and preparing the program for the future by securing top recruits.

This offseason hasn't been awful by any means in terms of recruiting, but the last couple of weeks have not been ideal as a few of their top prospects from the Southern California area chose to stay home at USC, including an Oregon commit, OT Drew Fielder.

USC chose to have their fun on social media, but Dan Lanning made it clear they're focused on the fall when the games are played.

Still, it would be nice for the Ducks to secure another top-end talent as they always eventually do. On Friday, that's exactly what they did by securing one of the top players in the country.

Edge Rusher Rashad Streets Commits to Oregon

On Friday, during the Pat McAfee Show on ESPN, edge rusher Rashad Streets announced that he would be taking his immense talents from Raleigh, North Carolina, to Eugene.

Oregon showed that when they lose out on talent in one region, they have the opportunity to do what few schools can, which is to have motion nationwide.

Rashad Streets is an absolutely massive get for Oregon. The 6'4 230 edge is one of the best in the nation. By the 247Sports composite rankings, Streets is the 7th-ranked edge in the entire country and the 61st-best player overall.

His massive frame speaks for itself at that age, but his skill takes him to another level. He brings elite speed at the edge position, and as a junior only has room to grow.

During the 2025 season, Streets accumulated an impressive stat sheet, recording 103 tackles, 39.5 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, 3 pass breakups, and 2 fumble recoveries.

He still has some technical work to hone, but once he has another season under his belt and comes to Eugene to work with Tony Tuioti, he'll be sharpened into a problem.

He's even already doing his part to help on the recruiting trail by urging Oregon fans to show love to 4-star safety Semaj Stanford, who has Oregon in his top three and will be making a decision on April 23rd.

The Ducks got a good one here.
