The Orange are taking on Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon, but FuboTV subscribers can't watch it.
Just days after Disney and Google resolved their ESPN/ABC/YouTube TV carriage dispute, there's another prominent disagreement which now impacts Syracuse Orange football fans.
Subscribers of Fubo TV were sent the following message on Friday regarding a carriage dispute between the provider and the NBC Networks.
Syracuse will play Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon (3:30 p.m. PT), with the game airing on NBC. This means that Fubo TV subscribers will not be able to watch unless the dispute is resolved by game time, which is closing in.
“Fubo has been engaged in good faith negotiations with NBCU to renew our long-standing content agreement to distribute their networks. Fubo believes customers should have the option to choose among multiple distributors to access the content they love. Unfortunately, NBCU has offered terms regarding pricing and packaging that we believe are egregiously above those offered to other distributors our size. Additionally, NBCU will not allow Peacock ingested into the Fubo Channel Store despite that they have given this access to other channel stores. As a result, all NBCU networks have left Fubo as of 5pm ET on November 21, 2025. If NBCU content remains off of Fubo for an extended period, we will directly credit $15 on our customers’ next billing cycle.”
Alternative ways to watch
Syracuse fans who want to watch the Orange in the second-to-last game of the season can still watch on basic cable, and YouTube TV allows a one week free trial.
Furthermore, the game will stream on Peacock if you are a subscriber there.
Streaming has gotten out of control
Pardon me for sounding like I'm 100, but the streaming game has gotten far too complex for most fans. Between carriage disputes and fractured television contracts, it's gotten to the point where most fans don't even know where they can watch their team - if they are even able to.
Streaming was supposed to make watching games easier, but right now, it's too convoluted and it's getting too expensive as well.
About the matchup
The Orange enter play at a disappointing 3-7 while the Irish are 8-2 and ranked No. 9 nationally.
Syracuse will continue its quarterback roulette with Joseph Filardi taking the snaps under center. Jeremiyah Love is going to be a favorite for the Heisman Trophy for Notre Dame, and he already has 1,135 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns.
Syracuse is a 36.5-point underdog, according to ESPN Bet Sportsbook.
