The game time and television network have now been released for the Syracuse men's basketball game on Nov. 15, which is a neutral site game againt Drexel.
The game had been listed as 'TBD' on the schedule for weeks, but we now know that Syracuse will play Drexel at 3:30 p.m. ET. The contest will air on the Peacock streaming service.
Though Syracuse is playing in Philadelphia, the game is technically a neutral-site contest since it is part of the "Autumn Invitational."
There are no true road tests for the rest of the calendar year for the Orange. They will also play neutral-site games as part of the Players Era championship (Nov. 24-25) against Houston and Kansas.
Syracuse has tried to keep itself as close to home as possible in the early going for years now and has achieved that once again this year with a very heavy home slate in the first half of the season.
Drexel is 1-0 this season and will play St. Joseph's on Saturday afternoon.
The Orange are looking to turn things around after a 14-19 season a year ago, and they are hoping that a solid class of freshman and transfers can help them do it. Adrian Autry's team beat Binghamton in the opener on Monday, getting double-digit scoring efforts from five separate players in the process. Freshman Kiyan Anthony, the son of Carmelo Anthony, had 15 off the bench, and UCLA transfer William Kyle III had 16 points thanks to several high-profile dunks.
Returning lead scorer JJ Starling will also play a big role.
The Orange will be back in action on Saturday afternoon (1 p.m. ET) at the JMA Wireless Dome against Delaware State. Syracuse Roundtable will have an on-site presence at several games this season, including this one, so make sure to follow us right here for all you need to know.
