On Wednesday, the Syracuse football team learned a handful of its game times for the 2026 season, with the four that were released working well for fans.

Well, on Thursday, the Syracuse faithful got another set of gifts as the Atlantic Coast Conference released a subset of its schedule for the 2026-27 men's basketball season.

While game dates and times haven't been announced, we now know who Syracuse will be playing and where under first-year head coach Gerry McNamara.

We'll do a basic breakdown of what you need to know here, but the bottom line is this: SU fans should be thrilled.

If you are a fan of having great games to go to at the JMA Wireless Dome, then this slate is good. If you are a fan of Syracuse playing its most difficult matchups at home, then this slate is good.

Syracuse will welcome both Duke and North Carolina to Central New York, while also getting perennial contenders Virginia and Louisville.

Syracuse played all four of those teams on the road last season, losing against all four en route to a 15-17 overall campaign.

Furthermore, Syracuse will see a subpar Pitt program at home, as well as a subpar Stanford program that needs to travel across the country. Georgia Tech, Boston College and Wake Forest are all winnable games as well.

Cal, Notre Dame, Florida State, Stanford and SMU are all winnable games that Syracuse will have on the road, meaning that Syracuse gets to avoid several of the conference powers away from home. SU defeated Cal, Notre Dame and SMU in the regular season a year ago before losing to SMU in the conference tournament.

Miami should be solid, as is Virginia Tech. Both teams beat Syracuse last season.

Syracuse will see two different opponents twice: Stanford and Pitt. Interestingly enough, SU did not play Stanford last season and will not play North Carolina State this season. We will have much more coverage of the SU schedule in the coming days here at SyracuseRoundtable. 

Congratulations are in order for former Syracuse men's soccer standout Miles Robinson, who was named to the final version of the US Men's National Team on Tuesday. This means that Robinson will represent the United States at the FIFA World Cup this summer. 

He helped Syracuse advance to the Final Four in 2015 where they lost to Clemson. SU also got to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2016. Robinson left after his sophomore year.
