The Orange announced the signing on Monday, which comes after a stellar season that saw them advance to the NCAA Tournament.

The Syracuse women's basketball program has added its second player to the upcoming freshman class. The Orange officially announced the signing of Queens, N.Y. native Destiny Robinson on Monday.

Who is Destiny Robinson?

The 6'0' incoming Orange player played for St. Mary's College Prep in Manhasset, N.Y., this past season. Coach Felisha Legette-Jack said this to the school's official website about the signing of Robinson:

"We are pleased to announce that Destiny Robinson will join our Orange family," She is a true winner! The player that you find under the rock in broad daylight, a state championship winner, played against the best players in our great state and won. She's gonna bring that pedigree to Syracuse. Please help me welcome Destiny to our family as we continue with our quest to pursue championships in the classroom and on the court with character"

Robinson joins Madison Howard in Class of 2030

Destiny Robinson joins Madison Howard as the two only committed recruits announced in the class of 2030.

Howard announced her commitment to Syracuse in November 2025.

A 5'8' guard from Bronx, N.Y., Howard played her high school basketball at Monsignor Scanlon.

An explosive guard, Howard scored over 2,000 points in her high school career.

Howard chose Syracuse over St. John's and Rhode Island.

Recent Orange rookie success

Both Robinson and Howard are hoping to have the same success in their rookie season as their soon to be teammate Uche Izoje.

Izoje was named the ACC's Rookie of the Year after averaging 15.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. Izoje led Syracuse in points, rebounds and blocks and helped the Orange qualify for the NCAA tournament. They advanced to the Round of 32 before losing to UConn.

This month, Izoje is representing Team Nigeria in exhibition games against WNBA teams.
