The Horned Frogs improved their home winning streak with a 62-59 win over No. 6-seed Washington to in a thrilling second-round affair in Fort Worth.

Olivia Miles followed up her triple-double in the first round of the NCAA Tournament with 18 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in the Round of 32 to power No. 3-seed TCU to a 62-59 win in overtime over 6-seed Washington at Schollmaier Arena on Sunday, an effort that pushes the Horned Frogs through to the Sweet 16 for the second straight year.

TCU (31-5) made good use of the home-court advantage in the first two rounds to extend its nation-leading home winning streak to 44 games and advance to the program's second consecutive Round of 16 in Year 3 under head coach Mark Campbell.

The outcome just barely came to fruition. Early on, it didn't look like the senior point guard could control the game as well as she has all season.

Washington (22-11) used a zone defense to stall Miles' attack for much of the first half and drown out the crowd's impact with slow, intentional play on the offensive end.

The Huskies led 27-19 at the half. TCU scored just six points in the second quarter - the team's lowest scoring quarter in two years.

That's exactly when the Big 12 Player of the Year came alive and led a furious comeback.

Despite second-leading scorer Marta Suarez getting into foul trouble early in the third, Miles used methodical ball-handling and clutch shot-making to lead the Frogs on a run. The Huskies led by just three going into the final period.

The home crowd crescendoed as the Frogs tied the game at 47 with four minutes left. Clara Silva - who provided a crucial load of 16 points, eight rebounds, two blocks and two steals - made a layup to give TCU a 51-49 edge, it's first lead since 15-14 early in the second quarter.

Brynn McGaughy made a tough basket for Washington to tie the game a moment later with just 14 seconds to play, and a missed 3-pointer from Miles sent the game into overtime.

TCU blitzed Washington in the extra period to take a 58-51 lead - the largest of the game for the home squad. The mark was met by a circus and-one layup by Miles as the crowd reached an all-time high in volume.

The lead ultimately was too large for the Huskies to recover from, though they didn't go down easy.

Washington responded with a 6-0 run to draw within a basket, but with just six seconds remaining and a three-point deficit, Sayvia Sellers, who led the Huskies with 18 points, six rebounds and five assists, missed a 3-point shot from the right wing at the horn.

The final game of the night across the bracket featured two teams desperate to advance, willing to grind through various stretches of missed shots and physical defense in order to advance.

Miles' leadership ultimately carried the Horned Frogs into the next round, where TCU will travel to Sacramento for the Region 4 semifinals to face either No. 2 Iowa or No. 10 Virginia. The Hawkeyes and Hokies tipoff on Monday at 1 p.m.
