TCU Chases Fifth Straight ITA Indoor Final at 2026 Nationals in Texas cover image

TCU eyes historic fifth straight ITA Indoor final. Can the No. 5 Frogs conquer Waco and Dallas to redefine college tennis dominance?

History is within reach for the TCU Horned Frogs as they open play at the 2026 ITA Indoor National Championships with a chance to do something no program has accomplished - compete for five consecutive indoor national titles.

Ranked No. 5 nationally, TCU begins the 16-team tournament against No. 17 LSU on Friday morning in Waco. The event is split between Baylor and SMU, with semifinal and championship matches shifting to Dallas early next week.

Under longtime head coach David Roditi, the Horned Frogs have turned Indoor Nationals into familiar territory.

TCU claimed back-to-back titles in 2022 and 2023, then fell in dramatic 4-3 finals the past two seasons - both decided by winner-take-all third sets. That consistency has cemented the program as one of the premier powers in college tennis.

This year’s squad is built for another run.

Duncan Chan leads the charge at No. 5 in the ITA singles rankings, while Cosme Rolland De Ravel checks in at No. 49. In doubles, the pairing of Albert Pedrico and Rolland De Ravel sits at No. 9 nationally, giving TCU a critical advantage in securing the doubles point - a category where the Frogs have won 22 of their last 24 opportunities over three seasons.

TCU’s indoor dominance speaks for itself.

The Frogs are 49-5 indoors over the past five years and have recorded 23 shutouts since 2022, including eight against ranked opponents. At home, they’ve gone 43-2 over the last four seasons.

Should TCU advance past LSU, a Lone Star showdown against Texas or Texas A&M looms in the quarterfinals. Regardless of the draw, the mission is clear ... extend an unprecedented streak and keep the Horned Frogs in the championship conversation.

For a program already stacked with accolades, this week offers another opportunity to redefine the standard in college tennis.
