Former TCU linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr brings speed, tackling and versatility to Buffalo after going No. 126 in the NFL Draft.

Former TCU linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr looks like a natural fit for what the Buffalo Bills want to become on defense.

Buffalo selected Elarms-Orr with the No. 126 overall pick in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, giving general manager Brandon Beane another athletic piece for Jim Leonhard’s defensive system.

For TCU fans, the pick makes sense. Elarms-Orr was one of the most productive defenders in the Big 12 last season.

The First-Team All-Big 12 linebacker piled up 130 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, four sacks and six quarterback hits in 2025. He also showed the range Buffalo covets, backing up his film with a 4.47-second 40-yard dash at 6-foot-2 and 234 pounds at the NFL Combine.

That was the third-fastest time among linebackers in the draft class.

Elarms-Orr believes his game lines up perfectly with Buffalo’s plan.

“[The system] definitely fits my profile,” Elarms-Orr said. “I pride myself on the versatility of my game.”

That versatility is the selling point. Leonhard’s defense needs linebackers who can play on all three downs, cover space, attack the run and pressure the quarterback.

Elarms-Orr checked those boxes at TCU, where he became known for playing fast and finishing plays.

He’s especially proud of his tackling.

“I take a lot of pride in tackling,” Elarms-Orr said. “I always just try and bring a lot of force, a lot of power into my tackles.”

For a Bills defense looking for more reliable stops on key downs, that mindset should travel well.

Elarms-Orr also made a strong impression during his pre-draft visit to Buffalo. He said he loved the city and felt welcomed by the organization.

Now he gets a chance to turn production into an NFL role.

For TCU, it’s another reminder of the program’s defensive development. For Buffalo, it’s a bet on speed, toughness and range.

Elarms-Orr has already made his message clear to Bills fans: he’s coming to work, lead and stay around the football.
