TCU basketball added another intriguing 2026-27 piece, signing four-star forward Sam Fleming out of Wilbraham & Monson.
TCU basketball keeps reshaping its 2026-27 roster, and the Horned Frogs just added a long, athletic forward with real upside.
Sam Fleming, a 6-7 forward from Springfield, Mass., has signed with TCU after finishing his high school career at Wilbraham & Monson.

For a program looking to reload with size, versatility and fresh energy, this is another strong swing by the Frogs’ staff.
Fleming brings a profile that should immediately catch attention. ESPN rated him as a four-star recruit, the No. 7 player in Massachusetts and the No. 38 forward nationally.
That’s not just roster filler. That’s a developmental piece with enough talent to become part of TCU’s future core.
He also earned a spot on the National Prep Championship Series Preseason All-American Watch List, another sign that his game had been trending in the right direction before arriving in Fort Worth.
In 2023, Fleming was named to the Frosh/Soph Elite 75, giving him another early marker as a prospect worth tracking.
Before his final season at Wilbraham & Monson, Fleming played at Springfield International Charter School, building his reputation in the Northeast prep basketball scene.
The bigger story is what TCU is building around him. Fleming joins a large incoming group that already includes Luke Bamgboye, Ryan Hunt, Trent Lincoln, Gavin Murphy, Gavin Sykes, Milos Sojic and DJ Thomas.
That’s a serious roster refresh, and it gives TCU multiple new pieces to develop, mix and match.
Fleming’s size makes him especially interesting. At 6-7, he gives the Horned Frogs another forward who can potentially defend multiple spots, attack mismatches and grow into a more complete offensive weapon.
TCU didn’t just add another name to the signing class. It added a four-star forward with edge, length and a chance to become much more than a quiet offseason pickup.
