TCU men’s tennis earned the No. 6 overall seed and will host Denver, Cornell and Arkansas in the NCAA Fort Worth Regional.

FORT WORTH - TCU men’s tennis is staying home to start another NCAA Tournament run.

The Horned Frogs earned the No. 6 overall seed in the 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Championship and will host first- and second-round matches at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth.

It’s another marker of consistency for TCU, which has earned a national seed for six straight seasons and 10 times in the last 11 years.

This is also the program’s 36th all-time NCAA Tournament appearance.

TCU enters the postseason at 21-5 after winning the Big 12 Tournament title and taking 13 of its last 14 matches. The Horned Frogs finished No. 2 in the ITA rankings, but landed at No. 6 in the NCAA bracket due to seeding tiebreakers.

The Fort Worth Regional begins Friday with Cornell facing Arkansas at 2 p.m. CT.

TCU will then meet Summit League champion Denver at 5 p.m. or 30 minutes after the first match ends. The winners advance to Saturday’s regional final at 4 p.m.

The Horned Frogs have history with the field.

TCU has shut out Denver in both previous meetings, including a 2021 matchup in Fort Worth. Cornell and Arkansas were also sent to Fort Worth in 2024, when Cornell beat Arkansas before TCU blanked the Big Red on its way to winning the national championship.

If TCU advances, Fort Worth would also host a Super Regional on May 9. The Horned Frogs would face the College Station Regional winner, a group that includes Texas A&M, Stanford, Penn and Wagner.

TCU has reached three straight NCAA semifinals, six straight quarterfinals and the final site in 10 consecutive seasons.

The expectation is clear again: Fort Worth isn’t just a starting point. It’s where TCU wants another title chase to begin.
