TCU will debut its new LED lights with two 7 p.m. home kickoffs before a national Friday night road showdown at Arizona.

FORT WORTH - TCU football is going straight into prime-time mode at Amon G. Carter Stadium.

The Horned Frogs’ 2026 home opener against Grambling State is officially set for 7 p.m. on Sept. 12, giving fans the first real look at the stadium’s new full-spectrum LED lights.

The game will stream on ESPN+, and yes, that means the Frogs are wasting zero time turning the new setup into a night-game show.

One week later, TCU gets another 7 p.m. home kickoff when Arkansas State comes to Fort Worth for Family Weekend on Sept. 19.

That matchup will air on ESPNU, giving the Frogs another early-season TV window and another chance to build some home-field energy under the lights.

The Big 12 and ESPN also locked in one of TCU’s biggest late-season road spots.

The Frogs will travel to Arizona on Friday, Nov. 6, for a 9:15 p.m. CT kickoff on ESPN. That game will be part of ESPN’s Friday night coverage and gives TCU a national stage deep into the season.

That Arizona kick is late, no doubt. But for exposure? It’s huge.

For TCU, this schedule release does more than fill in start times. It sets the tone.

Two night games at home to open the Fort Worth slate, followed later by a standalone road shot in Big 12 play, give the Frogs multiple chances to own the spotlight.

The opener against Grambling State will be about energy, presentation and avoiding early-season sloppiness. Arkansas State brings the Family Weekend crowd and a bigger broadcast platform.

Arizona, meanwhile, could carry serious conference stakes depending on how the season unfolds.

TCU now has three confirmed kickoffs, two home night games and one national Friday showcase.

The lights are new. The pressure isn’t.
