TCU had 49 winter student-athletes earn Academic All-Big 12 honors, led by strong showings from equestrian and swimming and diving.
FORT WORTH - TCU athletics had 49 winter student-athletes named to the 2025 Winter Academic All-Big 12 Team, giving the Horned Frogs another strong showing in classroom achievement.
The Big 12 recognition highlights athletes who performed well academically while also contributing in competition.
To qualify, student-athletes needed at least a 3.20 GPA, either cumulative or across the previous two semesters, and had to compete in at least 20 percent of their team’s scheduled contests.
TCU’s honorees came from five winter sports: men’s basketball, women’s basketball, equestrian, men’s swimming and diving and women’s swimming and diving.
Equestrian led the way with 14 selections, showing off the program’s depth beyond competition.
Anna Clausen, Adele Cunningham, Kaylene Cunningham, Hanna Dolan, Sydney Feager, Lilly Goldstein, Tatum Keller, Lex Lipacis, Lannie Jo Lisac, Sydney Sargent, Jordyn Scelsa, Peyton Staat, Jacqueline Stary and Victoria Zahorik all earned spots.
TCU also had 26 combined honorees from swimming and diving.
The men’s team placed 13 on the list, including Charlie Bishop, David Ekdahl, Peter Horton, Viktor Hristov and Nikola Koltin. The women’s team also had 13 selections, including Lauren Cey, Alexis Drap, Inge Ehm, Sydney Inman, Amanda Ulicny, Giorgia Vavalle and Hannah Wachendorfer.

Women’s basketball added six honorees: Taylor Bibgy, Natalie Mazurek, Olivia Miles, Maddie Scherr, Veronica Sheffey and Marta Suarez. Men’s basketball was represented by Brock Harding, Liutauras Lelevicius and Jayden Pierre.
The honor is another reminder that TCU’s winter athletes aren’t just producing in their sports. They’re also handling the academic demands that come with competing in the Big 12.
