TCU added Miami transfer Camille Williams, a former Fort Worth Boswell star with four years of eligibility remaining.
TCU women’s basketball added another major piece to its future, landing Miami transfer Camille Williams after the portal window closed.
For Williams, it’s a homecoming. The 5-11 guard starred at Boswell High School in Fort Worth before signing with Miami as a four-star recruit.

Now she’s returning to play for Mark Campbell and a TCU program that’s quickly becoming one of the most aggressive roster builders in the country.
Williams didn’t appear in a game for Miami last season, but that could actually benefit TCU. Because she redshirted, she still has all four years of eligibility remaining.
That gives the Horned Frogs a young, high-upside guard who can grow inside Campbell’s system.
Her high school résumé explains the excitement. Williams helped lead Boswell to a 2025 state title while averaging 16.2 points, 8 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
She was district MVP, a two-time Texas Girls Coaches Association all-state selection and ranked No. 36 nationally by ESPN in the 2025 class.
She joins a strong transfer group that already includes Lara Somfai from Stanford, Jadyn Wooten from Oklahoma State, Lanie Grant from North Carolina, Avery Hjelmstad from Utah and Bella Hines from LSU.
There may not be one headline name like Haley Van Lith or Olivia Miles in this group, but the depth is obvious. TCU should have real competition across the roster this summer, especially in the backcourt.
Playing time won’t be automatic for Williams, but her size, scoring ability and local roots make her one of the more interesting additions.
For TCU, this is another sign that last season’s success wasn’t a one-year surge. The Frogs are building something bigger in Fort Worth.
