TCU men’s tennis returns home to face BYU and Utah, bringing a 28-match outdoor home win streak and fresh Big 12 title hopes into the weekend.
TCU men’s tennis is back in Fort Worth for its final regular-season home weekend, and the timing couldn’t be bigger.
The No. 5 Horned Frogs will host BYU and Utah at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center with momentum building, the postseason picture sharpening, and the Big 12 race still alive.
For TCU men’s tennis, this weekend is about protecting one of the nation’s toughest home courts and keeping pressure on the rest of the conference.
The Horned Frogs have won 28 straight outdoor matches at home dating to March 2023, and they’ve gone 54-3 in Fort Worth over the last four seasons. That kind of consistency is why TCU remains one of college tennis’ standard-bearers.
David Roditi’s group enters the weekend at 15-5 overall and 3-1 in Big 12 play after winning seven of its last eight duals. Even more impressive, five of those victories came against top-25 opponents.
The lone blemish during that stretch came on the road against No. 8 Arizona, a match that underscored how difficult TCU can be to beat when it’s back on its home courts.
The lineup remains loaded with firepower. Duncan Chan sits at No. 5 in the ITA singles rankings and, along with Cosme Rolland De Ravel, forms the nation’s No. 1 doubles team.
That pair is unbeaten at 18-0 overall and has quickly become one of the biggest difference-makers in the country. Chan has also stacked up an NCAA-leading 14 ranked singles wins, while Rolland De Ravel has continued his strong spring with three straight victories over top-50 opponents.
TCU’s depth has been just as important. Cooper Woestendick is riding a four-match singles winning streak, Albert Pedrico has taken four of his last five singles matches, and Roger Pascual and Oliver Bonding have each delivered nine dual singles wins.
That balance has helped the Horned Frogs stay dangerous across the lineup.
Saturday will also carry extra meaning as TCU honors Rolland De Ravel on senior day. If the Horned Frogs handle business, they’ll head into the stretch run with everything still on the table.
