TCU Star Olivia Miles Earns Big 12 Player Of The Week After Dominant Scoring Stretch cover image

Miles exploded for 28 points per game, delivering career highs and leading TCU's surge. Her elite scoring fuels the Horned Frogs' postseason push.

TCU women’s basketball continues to surge at the right time, and senior guard Olivia Miles is at the center of it.

Miles was named Big 12 Player of the Week following a dominant two-game stretch that highlighted her ability to control games as both a scorer and playmaker.

Miles averaged 28.0 points for the week, showcasing elite efficiency and poise against conference competition. The Phillipsburg, New Jersey native delivered a career-high 31 points in a road matchup at Colorado, then followed it up by leading all scorers with 25 points in TCU’s win over Houston.

Across the two games, Miles shot an impressive 64.5 percent from the field and nearly automatic 91.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Already a three-time All-American and a Midseason Top 10 candidate for the Nancy Lieberman Award, Miles continues to build one of the strongest resumes in the country.

She has now scored at least 20 points in 10 of her last 14 starts and leads the NCAA with 20 games this season featuring at least 15 points and five assists. This marks her third Big 12 Player of the Week honor during the 2025-26 campaign.

Miles’ recognition was part of a larger week of standout performances across the conference.

Kansas freshman Jaliya Davis earned Big 12 Freshman of the Week after another dominant showing, while Baylor’s Taliah Scott, Colorado’s Jade Masogayo, and West Virginia’s Jordan Harrison joined Miles and Davis on the Big 12 Starting Five.

For TCU, Miles’ consistent excellence has kept the Horned Frogs firmly in the national conversation as the postseason approaches.

Her ability to score efficiently, close games, and elevate teammates makes TCU a difficult matchup for anyone in the league.

With the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Tournament set for March 4-8 at Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center, Miles’ current form suggests the Horned Frogs will arrive with momentum ... and one of the conference’s most dangerous players leading the way.
