Hot-hitting Aggies, fueled by an SEC Player of the Week, aim to extend their perfect series record against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

Texas A&M baseball returns to Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park on Tuesday night, riding the momentum of a dominant opening weekend sweep.

The 24th-ranked Aggies will square off against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a midweek matchup set for 6 p.m. in Bryan-College Station.

The Maroon & White (3-0) have historically controlled this series, owning a perfect 15-0 record against the Islanders. That includes 13 wins at home, where A&M will once again look to defend its turf.

Last season’s meeting ended early in a 17-7 run-rule victory for the Aggies, and head coach Michael Earley’s squad will aim to continue that trend.

Offensively, Texas A&M has wasted no time making noise in 2026.

Junior outfielder Caden Sorrell earned SEC Player of the Week honors after an electric Opening Weekend. Sorrell went 9-for-15 at the plate with three home runs and 10 RBI, launching the season with a blistering .600 batting average.

His .625 on-base percentage and 1.200 slugging percentage underscore just how locked in he has been through the first three games.

Wesley Jordan was equally dangerous. The senior delivered a 7-for-9 performance, good for a remarkable .778 average. Jordan added two doubles, two home runs, four RBI and crossed the plate seven times. He also drew five walks, pushing his OPS to a staggering 2.534.

Texas A&M enters the week ranked No. 22 by Baseball America, No. 24 by D1Baseball and No. 25 in the NCBWA poll.

With confidence building and the bats already clicking, Tuesday’s contest presents another opportunity for the Aggies to sharpen their game before conference play looms.

First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. with coverage available on SECN+ and local radio.
