Texas A&M's explosive receiver earns Biletnikoff Award consideration. Get ready for his electrifying plays as he steps into the spotlight.

Texas A&M wide receiver Mario Craver continues to establish himself as one of college football’s premier playmakers, earning early national attention ahead of the 2026 season.

The sophomore standout has been named to the pre-spring list for the prestigious Fred Biletnikoff Award, an honor given annually to the most outstanding receiver in all of college football.

Craver burst onto the scene in 2025 after transferring to Texas A&M from rival SEC school Mississippi State. In his first season in College Station, he was second on Texas A&M in receiving behind KC Concepcion, who is going to be take n by someone in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft.

His electrifying performance included an unforgettable 207-yard game with an 86-yard touchdown against Notre Dame — a mark that stood out as one of the most dominant receiving efforts against a ranked opponent last season.

His combination of speed, route-running, and dynamic playmaking helped him finish the year as one of the nation’s most productive receivers. Craver’s ability to consistently generate big plays made him a constant threat, and his impact was felt every time the Aggies needed a game-changing play through the air.

Not only was he one of the focal points of the Aggies' offense through the air, they also got him involved a bit on the ground. He had 11 rushing attempts for 81 yards in his second college season, and he was even able to get into the end zone.

As the 2026 season approaches, expectations are high for Craver and the Texas A&M receiving corps. With offensive continuity and support from quarterback Marcel Reed, the Aggies’ aerial attack could be one of the most exciting units in the SEC.

Concepcion will be leaving the team in an effort to make it big in the NFL, which means that Craver will be the player everyone is looking at to be "the guy."

And if his sophomore season stats are any indication, he is going to do just fine.

Fans and analysts alike will be watching closely as Craver builds on his breakout campaign — with the Biletnikoff Award being just one of several honors that could be within reach if he continues his upward trajectory.
