The Cleveland Browns added Texas A&M playmaker KC Concepcion at No. 24, landing one of the 2026 NFL Draft’s most explosive receivers.
The Cleveland Browns added serious speed to their offense Thursday night, selecting Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion with the No. 24 overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Concepcion gives Cleveland one of the most dangerous open-field players in this year’s class.

After transferring from NC State to Texas A&M, he became a featured weapon for the Aggies in 2025 and delivered the kind of production that pushed him into first-round territory.
The numbers were hard to miss. Concepcion caught 61 passes for 919 yards and nine touchdowns, giving Texas A&M a consistent downfield threat and reliable playmaker in space. He also made an impact on special teams, returning punts for 456 yards and two touchdowns.
That versatility should matter right away for the Browns. Cleveland is getting a receiver who can line up in multiple spots, create after the catch and flip field position in the return game.
Whether he’s catching passes from Deshaun Watson or Shedeur Sanders, Concepcion has the skill set to become an immediate part of the Browns’ offensive plan.
His college rise started before he arrived in College Station. Concepcion was named ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year as a freshman at NC State, then elevated his draft stock with a standout season in the SEC.
His 2025 performance earned All-American recognition from the Associated Press, American Football Coaches Association, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News.
Concepcion also helped himself during the pre-draft process. At the 2026 NFL Combine, NFL Next Gen Stats gave him a 75 production score, which ranked 10th among wide receivers, along with a 71 athleticism score. His combined score of 77 ranked 13th at the position.
For Texas A&M, Concepcion’s first-round selection is another major NFL Draft win. For Cleveland, it’s a bet on explosiveness, versatility and a receiver who can change a game quickly.
