Camryn Dickson broke her own Texas A&M 200m record with a 22.13, leading three Aggies into the next NCAA postseason round.

Camryn Dickson keeps raising the bar for Texas A&M track and field, and at this point, she’s basically racing against herself.

The Texas A&M senior sprinter delivered another statement at the NCAA West Preliminary Round, blazing to a 22.13 in the 200 meters at John McDonnell Field.

That time broke her own school record, topped her previous personal best of 22.15 and set a new facility record in the process.

That’s not just fast. That’s postseason-dangerous.

Dickson has already built one of the strongest sprint resumes in Aggies history, but her latest 200m performance adds another layer to it.

She had just set the Texas A&M record weeks earlier at the Alumni Muster, then came back on a bigger stage and shaved .02 seconds off the mark when the stakes were higher.

That’s the kind of progression coaches dream about in late May.

Under legendary coach Pat Henry, Texas A&M has become a national track and field machine, with championships, All-Americans and record-breaking performances turning into the expectation.

Dickson’s run fits perfectly into that standard. She isn’t just protecting her status as one of the program’s best. She’s expanding it.

And she wasn’t alone.

Jasmine Montgomery also advanced in the 200m with a strong 22.38, while sophomore Anya Jackson moved on with a 22.57.

That gives the Aggies three qualifiers in the event and keeps Texas A&M loaded as the postseason pressure climbs.

For Dickson, the timing couldn’t be much better. Championship season is when great sprinters separate from fast ones, and she’s finding another gear right when Texas A&M needs it.

The record book has already changed twice because of her this season.

At this pace, it might not be done changing yet.
