Former Texas A&M star KC Concepcion catches eight passes for 129 yards and adds 23 rushing yards as the Browns beat the Titans 27-24.

Former Texas A&M star KC Concepcion gave Aggies fans a familiar sight Sunday: Put the football in his hands, give him some space and watch defenders scramble.

The Cleveland Browns rookie caught eight passes for 129 yards and added 23 rushing yards on three carries in a 27-24 victory over the Tennessee Titans. His 152 yards from scrimmage helped Cleveland overcome an early 14-point deficit and improve to 5-2.

Texas A&M’s football account celebrated the performance with a fitting assessment: “KC filled the stat sheet.”

He did considerably more than pad the numbers.

Concepcion established career highs in receptions and receiving yards, collecting all eight catches before halftime. His production helped turn a troubling start into a 17-14 Cleveland advantage at the break.

A 23-yard reception helped fuel the Browns’ first touchdown drive. Later, a 32-yard catch helped position Cleveland for its game-tying score, and another reception contributed to the field goal that supplied the halftime lead.

The receiving fireworks slowed after intermission, but his influence didn’t disappear.

Concepcion delivered an 18-yard rushing gain during Cleveland’s fourth-quarter touchdown drive, advancing to Tennessee’s nine-yard line. Deshaun Watson scored on the next play, putting the Browns ahead 24-17.

After Tennessee answered, Andre Szmyt’s 32-yard field goal as time expired secured the victory.

For Texas A&M supporters, Concepcion’s versatility should require little explanation. He won the 2025 Paul Hornung Award, which recognizes major college football’s most versatile player, becoming the first Aggie to claim the honor.

During his final college season, he scored through the air, on the ground and on punt returns. That ability to threaten defenses in different ways helped make him Cleveland’s choice with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Sunday offered an encouraging example of that skill set translating.

Concepcion supplied explosive receiving plays while also contributing to the running game. Cleveland could involve him through different formations and touches, creating opportunities beyond conventional downfield routes.

One big afternoon doesn’t establish a finished NFL product. It does give the Browns a compelling reason to keep finding ways to feature their rookie.

Cleveland visits Pittsburgh next Sunday, giving Concepcion another opportunity to build on his strongest professional performance.

The Aggies already knew how dangerous he could be with the ball. Against Tennessee, Concepcion gave Cleveland a much clearer look.
