Jacksonville adds another Texas A&M product, taking defensive tackle Albert Regis with the No. 81 pick in the third round.
The Jacksonville Jaguars went back to College Station in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
After selecting Texas A&M tight end Nate Boerkircher in the second round, Jacksonville added Aggies defensive tackle Albert Regis with the No. 81 overall pick, giving the Jaguars another SEC-tested lineman for their front.

Regis leaves Texas A&M after a steady, productive career built on power, experience and consistency.
His best season came in 2025, when he finished with 49 total tackles, 18 solo stops and two sacks for 16 yards. For an interior defensive lineman, that kind of tackle production shows how often he stayed involved around the ball.
The Jaguars are getting a player who developed over time in College Station. Regis started every game at defensive tackle as a junior in 2024 and became one of the Aggies’ more disruptive interior defenders.
He ranked third on the team with six pass breakups, an impressive number for a defensive tackle and a sign of his awareness at the line of scrimmage.
He also flashed against quality competition, posting six tackles against Texas, five at Mississippi State and 1.5 tackles for loss at South Carolina. He was also credited with a share of a sack against Missouri.
Regis’ path wasn’t instant. He redshirted in 2021, worked into the rotation in 2022 and kept earning more responsibility each season.
By the end of his Texas A&M career, he had become a trusted piece up front.
For Jacksonville, the pick adds depth and toughness to the defensive line. Regis may begin as a rotational defensive tackle, but his experience and steady production give him a real chance to carve out a role.
The Jaguars clearly liked what they saw from the Aggies this draft weekend. Now Regis joins Boerkircher as another Texas A&M player headed to Jacksonville.
