Aggieland roared like never before, shattering SEC attendance records as Texas A&M's 12th Man fuels program-defining success and future expectations.

If you needed proof that Aggieland still hits different, the 2026 numbers just screamed it from the top of Kyle Field.

Texas A&M didn’t merely pack the house this season ... the Aggies owned the entire SEC in average attendance.

Reported figures show the Maroon and White led the league at 106,159 fans per home game, finishing roughly 4,000 ahead of Texas in the conference pecking order.

And this wasn’t a one-off, feel-good spike. Across seven regular-season home games, Texas A&M stacked up a staggering 743,113 total fans, the largest season total and best per-game average in Kyle Field history.

Even the postseason brought a monster turnout.

When the Aggies hosted Miami in the College Football Playoff, the crowd hit 104,122, which checked in as the second-largest attendance in CFP history. The game didn’t end the way A&M wanted - that first-round exit still stings - but the building was a statement. The 12th Man showed up like a program with national expectations.

And that’s the key word now: expectations.

In his third year, Mike Elko has clearly created buy-in. This isn’t just about tradition; it’s about the belief that what’s being built in College Station is real.

The Aggies ripped off their first 11–0 start since 1992, then followed it up with the school’s first CFP appearance. That flips the energy of an entire program, and it’s why Saturdays at Kyle aren’t just loud, they’re suffocating.

Recruits notice. Coaches notice. Opponents definitely notice. Now comes the fun part ... can Texas A&M top it again in 2026?

The home slate gives the 12th Man every chance to chase new records with Missouri State, Arizona State, Kentucky, Arkansas, The Citadel, Tennessee, and Texas all coming to College Station.

You’ve got rivalry heat with Arkansas and Texas, plus Tennessee returning to Kyle Field for the first time since 2016.

Kyle Field already set the bar. If Elko’s Aggies keep winning - and keep playing the kind of football fans want to spend their Saturdays screaming for - don’t be shocked if the 12th Man breaks its own record next.
