Texas A&M is heading into one of the most hostile environments in the SEC, as the Aggies travel to Tuscaloosa to face No. 13 Alabama. While the Crimson Tide are still a fearsome foe, they are not at their full strength heading into Saturday.

Texas A&M is back to the gauntlet of the SEC, with the Aggies traveling to Tuscaloosa to take on No. 13 Alabama.

The Crimson Tide are reeling after consecutive losses to rivals No. 5 Georgia and No. 11 Tennessee, but still pose a serious challenge to any team when they are at their peak.

With both teams looking to get back on track within the conference, Texas A&M has a somewhat notable edge in a key category.

The Aggies are healthier than Alabama, at least based on the final injury report released by the SEC on Saturday afternoon.

Ahead of the midday matchup, the Crimson Tide were reported to be without a staggering 10 of its members, as the injuries continue to pile up for head coach Kalen DeBoer and company.

These absences for the hometown Tide include wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams and running back EJ Crowell, which leaves quarterback Keelon Russell without some helpful options in the bounce-back effort.

Despite also missing the outing against the Volunteers, Coleman-Williams remains tied as the Tide's leading receiver with 415 on the year and stands as Alabama's leader in receiving touchdowns at four.

In the one-game sample size without Coleman-Williams, it was tough treading for Russell and the Crimson Tide, who were held to just 10 points in Knoxville.

Much of that can be credited to a Tennessee defense that is stout in own respect and the Aggies are not too shabby on the defensive front.

Meanwhile, Crowell ranks as the fourth-leading rusher for Alabama and has made four trips to the end zone on the ground this season. While there are other pieces in the rotation for the Tide, his absence should be noticeable for the home team.

Those two notable inactive players for Alabama merely scratches the surface of the holes throughout the lineup, which includes seven defensive pieces set be on the sideline.

In its previous SEC contests, the Aggies have struggled to find a consistent offensive rhythm and will need to get a spark if they have any hope of pulling off the upset, even with the weakened nature of the defense.

If Texas A&M can continue to poke at weaknesses that are brought about by this depleted state of Alabama, the Aggies could find themselves with renewed life in the SEC and potentially even the College Football Playoff.

The Aggies will see if they can be the latest underdog to stun the Crimson Tide in their 2:30 p.m. CT stop at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
