Texas A&M football is gaining recruiting momentum as Mike Elko hosts elite 2027 prospects, including Joshua Dobson, Zyron Forstall and Kaden Henderson.

Texas A&M football is pushing hard on the recruiting trail while spring practice rolls on in College Station, and the Aggies are clearly trying to turn early momentum into something bigger with the 2027 class.

As Mike Elko wrapped up his team’s fifth spring workout on Saturday, Texas A&M also welcomed another wave of high-profile visitors to campus, including several names that could shape the future of the program.

That’s a big deal for a staff trying to build on its recent recruiting traction. Texas A&M football recruiting is now centered on closing with priority targets, and this latest weekend brought several of the biggest ones back into the spotlight.

Five-star cornerback Joshua Dobson returned to College Station as the Aggies continue battling LSU for one of the nation’s top defensive backs.

Another major visitor, five-star edge rusher Zyron Forstall, also made his way to campus after already generating buzz as a strong Texas A&M possibility.

Both prospects are expected to take official visits this summer, giving Elko and his staff more chances to strengthen their position.

The Aggies also continue to make progress with 2027 four-star linebacker Kaden Henderson, who returned to campus after a recent visit earlier this month.

That kind of repeat travel usually matters in recruiting, especially when a prospect keeps making time to get back around a coaching staff.

Miami appears to be one of the biggest programs trying to challenge Texas A&M here, but the Aggies have clearly made Henderson a priority.

Another name to watch is 2027 four-star edge Mekai Brown.

He reportedly visited earlier in the week, and while USC may still be viewed as a major player, Texas A&M remains firmly in the mix.

Elko’s offseason staff adjustments may also be helping. One notable move was elevating Bryant Gross-Armiento to work more directly with cornerbacks, a change that seems to be resonating with players and recruits alike.

If weekends like this keep stacking up, Texas A&M could be setting the table for another major recruiting haul.
