The Texas A&M Aggies will be loaded in 2026 from an offensive standpoint. They are blessed with football riches as the 12th Man will once again cheer on their favorite sons in the maroon and white.
The Aggies offense will move down the field like eleven scalpels, slicing and dicing through their opposition with surgical precision on their way to the end zone.
That offense returns quarterback Marcel Reed, running back Rueben Owens II, receiver Mario Craver, a formidable unit, and will be one of the most talented in the SEC next season. Also, coach Mike Elko brought in some talent via the transfer portal.
Last season, Reed accounted for over 3,600 yards of total offense and 31 touchdowns while Owens led the Aggies in rushing with 639 yards and five scores. Craver is as underrated as they come, but did gain over 900 yards receiving and scored four touchdowns.
Elko also added talented receiver Isaiah Horton via the transfer portal from Alabama.
With an offense like that, it is no wonder that the Aggies are projected to reach new heights, according to ESPN .
This past season, Texas A&M earned its first College Football Playoff berth as a No. 7 seed, but bowed out in the first round to the eventual national runner-up Miami Hurricanes.
But in 2026, the Aggies will rise even higher as they look to fight their way through a tough schedule on their way to the No. 6 seed in the playoffs. That schedule features six ranked opponents, according to a way-too-early top 25 poll put out on Monday by SI's College Football HQ.
Texas A&M travels to No. 7 LSU, No. 16 Missouri and No. 15 Alabama. They will host No. 22 Tennessee, No. 12 Oklahoma and the rivalry game vs. No. 3 Texas.
After surviving that gauntlet and advancing via a first-round playoff victory over a rebuilt and reforged Oklahoma State team, the Aggies are projected to fall to another talented Texas Tech squad.
Texas A&M is built for success and consistency. The 12th Man will have much to stand and cheer about in 2026 as their beloved Aggies suit up for what should be another historic football season.
