Despite injury setbacks, Texas A&M's Le'Veon Moss ignites NFL Draft buzz, ranking among the nation's best running back prospects.

Texas A&M continues to make noise on the national stage as the 2026 NFL Draft approaches, and one of its top offensive stars is getting major recognition.

In a recent breakdown by Dalton Wasserman of Pro Football Focus, he ranks who he believes are the top 10 players at every offensive position in college football. And at No. 4 in his running back ranking, he has Aggies star Le'Veon Moss, despite him playing just nine games in 2025.

He missed the final games of the season due to a severe ankle injury that he suffered against the Florida Gators. But the encouraging thing for any NFL team considering drafting him is that he was able to return for the playoffs.

Some, including PFF, are saying that there is quite the drop-off in running back talent in this year's draft class after Notre Dame's Jeremiyah Love. But just because Moss might not be as good as Love does not mean that he can't make a quick impact with whatever team ends up taking him.

During his time at Texas A&M, he racked up 1,767 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns, and he did so averaging an impressive 5.5 yards per carry.

Injuries impacted portions of his college career, including his final season, but his production when on the field consistently showed his value to the Aggies’ offense. When healthy, he demonstrated the ability to generate chunk plays and serve as a dependable centerpiece in the run game.

That combination of talent and resilience is a big reason why he remains firmly on the NFL radar.

For Texas A&M, Moss’ recognition is part of a larger trend. The program has continued to produce NFL-ready talent, and his inclusion in PFF’s top rankings only reinforces the strength of the Aggies’ roster in recent years.

As draft day approaches, Moss has a clear opportunity ahead: prove he can stay healthy and showcase the full range of his abilities. If he does, don’t be surprised if this top-five ranking turns into a significant role at the next level.

For now, though, Aggies fans can take pride in knowing one of their own is firmly among the nation’s best at his position.
