Mike Elko enters his third season in College Station after delivering the program’s first College Football Playoff appearance, and the Aggies are bringing back the most important piece of that breakthrough offense.

Gregory has been training alongside sophomore running back Jamarion Morrow, and both look ready to force their way into larger roles.
Morrow may be the most natural one-cut runner on the roster and should have every opportunity to compete for the starting job.
That kind of young talent matters because Texas A&M can’t simply ask Reed to carry the offense every Saturday. The Aggies need explosive plays from multiple positions, especially as defenses adjust to a quarterback who’s no longer an unknown.
Elko already has a defense that finished third nationally in sacks last season. If Wiggins can unlock the offense while Reed protects the football, Texas A&M won’t merely be chasing another playoff invitation.
The Aggies will be built to win once they get there.
