The Aggies unleash a commanding road victory, crushing Georgia and solidifying their SEC lead with a powerful offense and a stifling defense.

The Texas A&M Aggies continue to look like one of the nation’s most dangerous teams, and Saturday’s performance in Athens only strengthened that case.

Fresh off a brief layoff, Texas A&M showed no rust whatsoever, storming into Stegeman Coliseum and racing past Georgia 92-77 to remain alone atop the SEC standings.

The tone was set almost immediately. The Aggies opened the game with a blistering 20-2 run and built an eye-popping 26-6 advantage before Georgia could settle in.

That early surge spoke volumes about this team’s confidence, preparation, and belief in what first-year head coach Bucky McMillan is building in College Station.

As usual this season, senior forward Rashaun Agee was at the center of everything. Agee posted a monster stat line with 18 points, 15 rebounds, and seven assists, controlling the game on both ends and recording another double-double in the process.

And the Aggies’ depth once again made the difference. Five players reached double figures, including senior guard Marcus Hill, who consistently attacked the paint and finished with 15 points. Reserve guard Ali Dibba matched Hill with 15 of his own, knocking down three triples and providing a massive spark off the bench.

When “Bucky Ball” is clicking like this, opponents are left chasing shadows.

Rebounding and efficiency have also taken a noticeable step forward. Texas A&M won the battle on the glass 46-39 for the second straight week, while improvements at the free-throw line are paying dividends. Over the past three games, all wins, the Aggies have converted 51 of 54 attempts at the stripe - an area McMillan emphasized as a priority.

That momentum will be tested immediately as Texas A&M heads to Tuscaloosa on Wednesday for a showdown with the Alabama Crimson Tide, followed by a massive home date with the Florida Gators.

Florida is the only other SEC team with seven conference wins, making the upcoming stretch pivotal in the race for the league crown.

Still, at 17-4 overall and 7-1 in conference play, the Aggies are playing with house money.

They’re shooting confidently, defending with purpose, and embracing the grind of SEC basketball.

Wednesday’s matchup in Tuscaloosa, airing on the SEC Network, represents another chance for Texas A&M to prove this run is no fluke ... and that the top of the SEC belongs to them.
