The Texas A&M Aggies boast over ten potential NFL draftees, led by All-American Howell and dynamic receiver Concepcion.

Texas A&M could be on the verge of a landmark moment when the 2026 NFL Draft arrives in Pittsburgh this April.

Under head coach Mike Elko, the Aggies are positioned to send more than ten players to the professional ranks, a total that would mark the highest draft output of Elko’s head-coaching career and a clear validation of the program’s upward trajectory.

Coming off an 11-2 season and the first College Football Playoff appearance in school history, Texas A&M watched more than a dozen players declare for the draft.

The group is headlined by unanimous All-American edge rusher Cashius Howell and dynamic wide receiver KC Concepcion, both of whom are widely viewed as first-round talents.

Concepcion emerged as one of the most versatile offensive weapons in the country during the 2025 season. He totaled 61 receptions for 919 yards and nine touchdowns, added 75 rushing yards and a score, and became a special teams nightmare by averaging 18.2 yards per punt return with two return touchdowns.

Several mock drafts project Concepcion in the middle of the first round, with his route-running and open-field burst appealing to teams looking to modernize their passing attacks.

Howell’s rise may have been even more dramatic. The Bowling Green transfer became the 11th unanimous All-American in Texas A&M history after piling up 11.5 sacks, 14 tackles for loss, and 41 total pressures. At 6-2 and 248 pounds, Howell combines power with advanced pass-rush counters, making him a potential immediate contributor for an NFL defense in need of consistent pressure.

Beyond the star power, the Aggies’ depth stands out. Five offensive linemen declared, led by guard Chase Bisontis, who carries early-round buzz. Taken together, the numbers point to a program that has developed talent across the roster.

If projections hold, the 2026 NFL Draft could become a defining chapter for Mike Elko’s Texas A&M rebuild ... and a signal that the Aggies are becoming a yearly presence on draft weekend.
