Matthew Golden tops 100 receiving yards, Byron Murphy II delivers two sacks, and Brandon Jones makes a crucial interception as former Longhorns shine in NFL Week 5.

Former Texas Longhorns football players delivered several standout performances across the NFL in Week 5, with Green Bay Packers receiver Matthew Golden, Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Byron Murphy II and Denver Broncos safety Brandon Jones producing some of the weekend's most impressive moments.

While Texas fans were left frustrated by Saturday's loss to Oklahoma, several former Longhorns gave them something to celebrate Sunday.

Golden turned in one of the strongest receiving performances of his young NFL career, catching six passes for 123 yards in Green Bay's 31-7 victory over the Chicago Bears.

The former Texas standout averaged 20.5 yards per reception, including a 50-yard gain, and caught six of his seven targets.

Golden also converted a two-point attempt, helping the Packers improve to 3-2. He now has 24 receptions for 397 yards and two touchdowns through five games.

His performance provided another indication that he's becoming a significant weapon in Green Bay's passing attack.

In Seattle, Murphy was equally impressive despite the Seahawks' 32-29 loss to the undefeated San Francisco 49ers.

Murphy recorded six tackles, including five solo stops, two sacks, three tackles for loss and three quarterback hits.

The former first-round pick has now registered three sacks through five games, emerging as an increasingly disruptive presence along Seattle's defensive front.

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson continued his productive season against Baltimore, rushing for 86 yards on 17 carries.

Robinson added four receptions for 32 yards, finishing with 118 yards from scrimmage in the Falcons' 30-23 overtime defeat.

Robinson didn't reach the end zone, but his 5.1 yards per rushing attempt showed he remained effective against a physical Ravens defense.

Denver safety Brandon Jones also delivered a critical defensive play.

With the Broncos protecting a late lead against the Los Angeles Chargers, Jones intercepted Justin Herbert on fourth down, helping Denver secure a 23-17 victory.

The interception was part of a fourth-quarter defensive turnaround that pushed Denver to 3-2.

Elsewhere, several former Longhorns experienced more difficult afternoons.

Tennessee tight end Gunnar Helm was held without a reception as the Titans fell to 0-5 following a 26-3 loss to Houston.

New York Jets receiver Adonai Mitchell missed Sunday's 17-12 victory over Cleveland because of a finger injury.

Dallas linebacker DeMarvion Overshown was also inactive for Thursday's 24-16 loss to Tampa Bay.

Kansas City receiver Xavier Worthy and Carolina tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders had Week 5 byes.

The NFL week concludes Monday night when the Los Angeles Rams host Buffalo. Former Longhorns Jordan Whittington and Poona Ford are among the Rams players awaiting their Week 5 opportunities.

For Texas fans, Golden's explosive receiving performance and Murphy's disruptive afternoon were particularly encouraging signs that the Longhorns' NFL pipeline continues producing impact players.
